This App operates on a local storage and secure personal iCloud architecture. All aquarium logs and water quality data are stored on your local device or your personal iCloud space via Apple's SwiftData technology. The developer of this App does not run or own any third-party servers, and has no access to, nor stores or discloses your core aquarium data.
When you use the "Test Strip Camera Scanner" feature, the App will request access to your camera.
Our Promise: The camera is strictly used to assist you in capturing the color status of your water test strips for local calibration and pre-filling. The captured images are only processed in temporary memory for analysis and are never saved to your photo library, nor uploaded to any external server or shared with third parties.
When you use the weather correlation feature (integrated with Apple WeatherKit) during water analysis, the App will request "While Using the App" location permission.
Our Promise: Location data is used strictly to retrieve real-time local atmospheric pressure and temperature to assist in analyzing the environmental climate's impact on your tank's ecology. We query weather data locally and instantaneously; we never track, log, or store your location history, nor do we upload your location data to the developer or any unrelated third parties.
This App does not require users to register an account, and does not collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, or phone number). However, to support the continuous operation of the free version, the App integrates a third-party advertising service:

The App supports Apple's iCloud Service (CloudKit) to enable automatic data synchronization across your multiple iOS devices (e.g., iPhone and iPad). This synchronization process occurs entirely within Apple's secure ecosystem. The developer does not have access to your iCloud container data.
